Evaluation

MCG conducts scientific evaluation to assess the effectiveness of products, program implementation, and communications.

Examples of evaluation

    • Ready-To-Learn:  MCG is the research partner on three U.S. Department of Education: Ready-To-Learn awards.  The current focus of these awards is the production of educational transmedia properties for low-income families and their young children ages 2 – 8 years old.
    • My Plate:  MCG is partnered with JMH Education Marketing Inc., Carrot New York, providing research to support  the development of a 5th-6th grade garden-based nutrition curriculum as well as nutritional lessons for grades 1-6 based on the My Plate guidelines for healthy eating.  Both projects are funded by the United States Department of Agriculture Food & Nutrition Service’s Team Nutrition initiative.
